DIY Dolphin shorts with Lace pockets

Welcome back to my blog!  Today I'm sharing with you how I made a cute dolphin shorts with lace pockets. I am browsing Pinterest  as usual when I came across this cutie! ❤️️ I believe it came from this website:  https://www.modcloth.com Though I'm unable to find it there anymore but that's where the Pinterest link came from.  Anyway, let's start! Things you need: 0.75 yard of cotton fabric lace fabric elastic coordinating threads pins ruler french curve (optional) sewing machine Pattern making. Just trace around any shorts that fit you then you can modify it later on. Cutting.  You should have: - waistband (6 inches width if unfolded, 3 inches on fold) - 2 bindings (2 inches width) - 2 front piece - 2 back piece - 2 pockets (8" x 7") or you can modify to your desired length Sewing. Hi lovelies!  I want to share with you how I made a ruffle sleeve baby doll top inspired by SheIn's. https://www.shein.com/ I fell in love with how cute and simple it is. At first, I considered ordering from their website however since I'm from the Philippines, the shipping costs too much for me so I decided to just make one for myself! Things you need: 1 and 1/2 to 2 yards of jersey cotton knit fabric white thread pins ruler french curve sewing machine (you can also hand sew if you have a lot of patience ♡) First, make a pattern. Find a top that fits you well. I used my Mama's "pambahay" since it is loose enough which is how I wanted my top to be. Trace around the top and add 1 inch seam allowance. I did not add a seam allowance for the armholes since I will be adding sleeves to it. For the sleeves, fold the paper in half (folded side at the top) then trace around the armhole.
